Quotes to Inspire Peace

For the Love of Quotes

Some days, I search for quotes. Quotes to motivate me, inspire me, give me perspective.

Some days, quotes refresh my soul like ice water refreshes my body after an exhausting run.

I know I’m not the only one who adores a good quote! Why do people love them so much? Instagram, Facebook, on t-shirts, coffee mugs, you name it– quotes paint the world we live in.

Quotes are a simple, often beautiful, way to convey a greater message. They can shift attitudes, affirm beliefs, serve as motivation, or a gentle reminder. They resonate with a multitude of people despite drastic differences in background and culture.

So, we love quotes.

A Reminder

Some days I search for peace a little harder than usual. Today, I admit, is one of those days.

This week was just burdensome in more ways than one. Some weeks are like that, you know?

It’s funny, though, how the little things can remind you of the (much) bigger picture.

succule

My pretty succulents did just that for me, this morning. They reminded me.

They reminded me of what is true.

If you know me, you might know how much I absolutely love succulents. Their beautiful leaves, filled with sap, enable growth and strength despite extremely warm conditions. They’re beautiful, and strong.

Beautiful and strong.

It’s what I want to be.  It’s what I am, if I allow myself. And that goes for you too.

Quotes for Peace

Do you ever need the reminder that you, too, are beautiful and strong?

Whether you’re a mommy like me, or just someone who needs a boost today, I’m glad you’re here. Together we can remember to be filled with all things peaceful and positive. We deserve that much!

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in midst of those things and still be calm in your heart. Unknown.

Don’t let the behavior of others destroy your inner peace. Dalai Lama.

I have no time to battle egos and small minds. Unknown.

Inhale, Exhale. Peace in, chaos out.

You’re strong and beautiful–don’t forget that.

xx,

Savannah
