Small Business

Small businesses are, as you may already know, privately-owned partnerships/corporations that have fewer employees and less revenue than a regular-sized business. Think of your local coffee shop, or hair salon, or downtown boutique. They’re often more friendly, more personal, and much more customer-oriented than a large business.

My Passion

Since having my daughter, I’ve been introduced to some amazing shops and delightful people. I’ve made some friends and partnerships, and have learned a bit about what it means to be a small business and the amount of work it takes to make one successful.

I am passionate about genuine relationships, and supporting honest-to-goodness hard working people!

Favorites

I could easily spit out a list of favorite small shops. I live minutes from one of the top 10 small cities in America– Frederick, Maryland. It’s filled with every type of small business imaginable! Coffee shops, hair salons, Cuban cuisine, boutiques, children’s toys, bike shops, tattoo parlors…I could go on.

Today, I am sharing some of my favorite small shops. And, no, they aren’t in my beloved hometown! I have had the amazing opportunity to connect with and get to know these mama entrepreneurs through blogging; I am sooo impressed with what they’ve done to build their businesses and serve their customers!

Believe me when I say that these mamas will go out of their way to give you the best customer experience you’ll ever receive.

What I love: We The Giants donates 10% of profits to expanding access to computer science for kids!

They’re selling baby items, home decor, and mugs! (In case you don’t know, I am obsessed with mugs–and my all-time favorite one comes from We The Giants!

Wild Kinder

What I love: The modern, fun designs that bring out the adventure in childhood.

Detailed and durable, these clothes for kiddos are to die for! In her Wild Kinder romper, my girl is so comfy and relaxed (also cute, if I may say so myself!) 😉  Oh, and did I mention the PRINTS? Cacti, raccoons, dinosaurs, watermelon…you name it!

Hudson-Lillian Designs

@hudsonlilliandesigns

What I love: Monochrome, monochrome. And happiness, and laughter–just what this mom entrepreneur is all about!

I love that her ladies’ shirts have added length. They’re also very soft, yet keep their shape. After I got my first tee, I HAD to order more for my whole family! (See our photos below.)

I’m so glad to have connected with this momma. She has an amazing story to back up her innovation and quest for all things happy. I’ve been nothing but amazed at her ingenuity, her spunk, and her oh-so-caring nature.

I can say with promise that I will continue to shop Hudson-Lillian Designs for years to come! You will want to, too. Trust me.

I hope you’ll enjoy browsing & shopping these fantastic shops. Isn’t it good to know that you’re getting your money’s worth, that you’re supporting moms like yourself?

If you have a favorite small shop that you think I should check out, I’m all ears! Feel free to contact me at any time.

xx,

Savannah
