Reusable Swim Diapers?
I’d never have guessed that I would try reusable swim diapers. I always thought it was just so much easier to dispose of the soiled things after a day at the pool. They’re dirty and wet, so into the trash they go.
No washing, no worries. Right?
Well, not exactly.
Disposable diapers aren’t as great as they may seem, after all. They pale in comparison to reusable diapers, which are really more convenient, comfortable, and pretty darn cute!
I’ve come to realize that reusable swim diapers are really quite easy and actually much more convenient to handle. Yes, your read that right. They’re convenient! Rather than lugging at least 10-15 swim diapers on a trip to the beach, I only have to bring two reusable diapers, at most.
I don’t know about you, but I like to travel light. Reusable swim diapers are real space-savers!
Another convenience? They can be washed and hung to dry, ready to use the next day. This saves money, since I’m not throwing away a diaper every time we go to the pool–or wherever we’re getting wet.
Our first (and favorite) swim diapers are from Nuggles. They are lighter and more breathable than disposable diapers. The inner mesh sling is soft and has never given my daughter rashes or chafing.
Nuggles swim diapers are adjustable, too! They can fit babies from 10-35 pounds, because the snap-buttons on the outside allow for a range of waist and bottom sizes. 🙂
Okay, so looks aren’t everything, but I LOVE cute things for my baby, whether it’s clothing or accessories or toys. (What momma doesn’t?)
Well guess what–even diapers can be fashionable! 😉 Nuggles swim diapers come in so many colors and prints. Really, they are so adorable! Try not to buy them all–I dare you!
You can check out the Nuggles website here.
Will you give reusable swim diapers a try? I’d love to hear what you think of them!
