Touches of Minimalism

Minimalist Decor Inspiration

Minimalism at Home

Minimalism: emphasizing the things we value most–and removing what distracts us from them.

I really try to live by this when it comes to home decor–and fashion, come to think of it! But that’s for another day, another blog post! 😉

Make your home beautiful by accentuating the most genuinely meaningful pieces, not by crowding spaces. In my opinion, it is far better to have a few eye-catching pieces that reflect your personality and style, than to have a lot of not-so-meaningful pieces that just take up space!

For me, creating the ideal living space takes time. I’m not (ever) going to find all of my favorite furniture pieces, art prints, or designs in just a day–or even a month. It takes trips to antique stores, to small shops, to inspirational websites. Cultivating a style that shows off YOU is not something to be rushed! 😉

And now getting back to the point of this post…
